Your SO's cooking

My bf can cook instant noodles, canned food
and is great at BBQing.. no fancy dishes
he thinks he knows how to cook certain dishes
but till now, i'm waiting for him to cook something nice for me
like curry chicken..

haha... My SO is just so into cooking. maybe can change profession and be a cook one day...
I myself can't cook. The best is maybe fried rice? .
I once told my SO to teach me how to cook and he went like " eh... don't need la. I cook for U can already"
But i am sure what he really meant was " you are just not talented , better don't teach you or I would have to eat up all the awful stuff that you cook "

whenever i try something nice at a restaurant, my SO wud say that he can cook it too, but yah, neva once had he really duplicate the dish that i like. all talk only.

but he does cook simple dishes like pasta n noodle for me.

My hubby whips out dishes when he's in the mood ... even my mummy dearest is impressed.
Me? I can settle for the eating part only.
That explains why my stove remains a virgin after 4 months of our moving in....

ya.. i think my SO can cook better than me also. but we have our forte at different cuisine.. he's better at western/italian , i'm better with japanese/asian i think.. .. i hardly cook , most of the time i'll bug him to whip up some portobello mushroom with vinigrette for me with pasta and mushroom soup.

best part, i don't have to wash the dishes as well.. heheh... :bath:

Knowing i love fishballs, my hubby fried them n minced meat together in chilli sauce in an attempt to cheer me up....tasted horrible but it moved me tremendously....

Haha, my SO just cooks maggi mee and occasionally will cook scramble egg for me...!!Haha love to see him when he's cooking...

Tried maggi noodles from my SO. But he adds in additional seasoning of brandy and stuff and ingredients like sausages, eggs, vegetables etc... the result is simple it and i must admit that I him even more for that! His family loves it too, made a simple maggi mee absolutely delicious!
