    Thanks in advance.
    Hello there,

There's a good place for massage and affordable price in ubud area. I went all the way up there just to try this place because it was recommended by lonely planet. So rest assured no dodgy-ness tho the price are good.

I know many of you might like the way singapore massage do: with AC!

Evespa in ubud has no AC, but rest assured it is not hot because there are fan inside and if you asked for couple room, they are really spacious.

My masseuse was great because the massage i choose basically they do most of it with their palm instead of their finger tips which could hurt you pretty badly with bruises. I felt so calm and great during the session.

I loved it so much i went back the day after haha!

Don't judge a book by its cover. and if you are not fussy, evespa is a must!

I've visited the Philippines twice only to treck the rice terraces in Banaue. I loved the tea plantations in India and Malaysia, and it you are a nature person like me you definitely should stay in Ubud to be as near as possible to the rice terraces there.

I found a really nice hotel on this site: www.tiket.com
Maybe it helps, it is specialized on Indonesia.

Hope you enjoy your stay in Bali...

I'm not so impressed with the rice terraces at Bali. The one in Philippines is much more nicer.

But if I were to choose between Seminyak and Ubud, I'll choose Seminyak because I'm a beach person.

I was just here 2 weeks ago and man, the waves were one of the wildest that I've had while surfing. Such great experience

Yup! Couldn't agree more. Seminyak is more like "atas" lifestyle. There's many nice villas to stay. Ubud more like a village kinda place. Rice fields and some art markets, abit quiet I would say. For those seeking some peace.

I would recommend Ubud if you are keen on a back-to-basics holiday and immerse yourself in Bali's cultural scene. They are popular for their arts and the villages. Seminyak on the other hand, provides abit of both urban shopping and scenic nature. So it really depends on what you are looking for in this holiday

It feels great to revisit Bali! Based on Kiseki and Ronald Tan's recommendation, I engaged Pak Ketut as my driver for 1 day on 27 Oct 2013. He was very friendly, polite and patient. And he speaks English.

    Restaurants I'd recommend are:
    1. Un's Restaurant - opens from 4PM to midnight
Address: South of Poppies Gang I, Kuta.

    2. Cuca - Opens from 12PM to 12AM
    Address: Jalan Yoga Perkanthi Jimbaran.

My fiance and I stayed at a villa in seminyak which has its own private pool and the price is really reasonable! Not only is the environment tranquil and private, the service is great too!

I feel that it's really important to have a good driver to bring you to places to visit, eat and shop if you are not familiar with bali. Thankfully, i got a nice and honest driver who is always punctual and never attempts to ask for more tips from us. He would always bargain for us and make sure we get the local pricing when we go to restaurants/play watersports/shop. There is a significant difference between their local prices and international tourists prices. So you do have to take note of that!! or else will end up paying alot more than you thought you shld!

Our driver is also very patient and honest with us, and gives us very good suggestions on places to visit/eat. By the way, i found him through a recommendation from Ronald Tan (A Day in Bali 1, Indonesia | ronald-tan.com), and am thankful i did my research first. Also, Ketut, the driver, charges v reasonable rates too. He is always open to negotiation, and surprisingly he asked me to quote him a rate! so v nice of him! at the end of the day, we saved alot of money cos of the bargaining and travel costs as well.i've nothing but praise but our driver!

all in all, we really enjoyed ourselves in bali and we did lots of water sports at tanjung benoa, such as jet ski, para sailing, banana boat, etc. Also, i did sea walking which was really fun for a non-swimmer like me, where i could go under water and experience marine life!

The food there was great too! A must visit is gimbaran bay for the beach sunset seafood dinner!

Also, do plan your itinerary before visiting too! will save you lots of time! =))
May i know which Villa did you stay?Is that place near shopping mall? How about the eating place is it near by?

    Thanks for sharing
