Always check the seller's feedbacks. Buy from those with lots of positive reviews. In this case, you know they have been tried and tested.

hi, both time i just ask the person for the postage.

it wasn't by vpost n i have recieved the items.

the most recent ones are 2 small books (like those address books size) and i think the postage was only US$4.50 and they were shipped here within a week.

oops, forgot to add that i paid by paypal too. =)

If you're not having the stuff shipped using the vpost US address, you've to check if seller ships overseas. Some sellers only ship to confirmed addresses. Almost all sellers accept PayPal.

                        Nope, not silly at all.

You've to sign up for an account at PayPal. Signing up for a PayPal account is free.

After linking your credit card to PayPal you can pay via USD, and you'll be charged in SGD according to prevailing exchange rates. You can't link your Singaporean bank account to your PayPal account.

Actually I think you have to link your bank account to your Paypal account. I remember having to get the bank code and stuff.

I can also withdraw my Paypal dollars (if you're a seller) into my Singapore bank account. But I choose not to cos the rates are horrendous.

Some sellers don't accept Paypal, so I get my US based friends to send money orders. MOs are more common in US than Singapore.
