Last Sunday I tried cooking abalone porridge and it was a success.Very simple recipe:
    2 cups rice
1 can of abalones(cut into thin slices)
6 dried scallops( shredded into tiny pieces
4 slices of chicken breasts( cut into thin pieces)
3 tea spoons of soy sauce
    white peppers
    sping onions

wash the rice and fill thermal pot with water to half.Throw in abalones, scallops and chicken breasts.Boil for 10 mins, pour in soy sauce and stir.Off fire. When ready to eat, add pepper and spring onions.Simple and yummy!

Calmex (some call it the wheel brand) or nothing, seriously. You can tell it's far superior in taste and texture. But be prepared to pay for it.

the gravy is just oyster sauce + corn starch. i would advise using the stock in the can. Chicken stock will be a better favour.

The stock based that comes along with the abalone can be added into any soup based which i always do that to add in another favour into my steamboat or chicken stock.

Can the abalone gravy that come together with the canned Abalone be used for cooking ?

    I have done some research.
    Carrefour -
New Zealand Abalone New moon $33
    Australia New moon $39.80
    Chile Abalone New moon $36.80
Purchase with purchase min $65 spending, can buy Chile abalone at $25

    NTUC Online
Skylight abalone (nz) + braise shark fin = S39.90
    New moon abalone (NZ) $33

Maybank card order from maybank credit card before 7th Feb
    Australia Skylight abalaone $40.80 (discount 15%) = $34.68
    Australia " " + buddha jump over the wall = $47.80 (15% discount) = $40.63
