the airline should have issued a list of things you're not supposed to bring right? :\

i need to bring cup noodles when i go overseas!
but most people here probably don't need.

I think it's stated what you cannot bring, eg: sharp items. When you reach somewhere in the airport, you'll see the board telling you what is not allowed in your hand carry. I remember seeing the sign once.

But it's weird, i think by then we would have checked in already? Like no time to put it with your luggage.

do note that on flights to USA, lighters are NOT allowed even in checked-in luggage.

                New to BKK

Hey ladies. I'm a secondary school student and my school band will be going to BKK at the end of the year. It'll be my very first time there, and I'm just hoping someone can suggest some ideas on what I should include in my packing list (should I bring any make-up?) and some other tips that might help me. Thanks SOO much in advance!!!!! Love y'all

P.S. Am new here too.. So guide me along when need be. -love-

well, for me, i'm a pampered girl, so tend to bring more than enough!

I have separate skincare and make-up pouches to divide up the load.

                  on flight i will have:
                  face mist
                  pen (for filling immigation form)
book / magazine (buy from duty free, it's cheaper there!)
                  ipod

for the trip, i will have
plastic bags (for storing soiled clothes)
spare spectacles (am wearing contact lenses)
                  shaver
                  wet tissue
                  panty liners
                  handphones + charger

Here is my travel checklist for Bangkok trips.

It is safer to leave all these "sharp" materials behind.
All I had was a blunt tiny scissors for the nails purchased at the last minute for my ingrown nail. I had to leave that behind at the HK airport.

Personally, I think the stainless steel forks for teh firstl class passager is more dangerous than that flimsy and blunt scissors.

Packed in check-in luggage should be no problem, they are only sticky about handcarry.

check in. My small tiny blunt scissors look more harmless than most tweezers. :D
