i experience pins and needles a lot a lot.. and sometimes they develop into cramps.. but i guess that has to do with how i sit? it happens more often when i kneel down or sit on the floor with my legs crossed.. i hope it's no big problem of any sort..

Dodo, not wanting to scare you but it would be advisable to go see a doctor if you are experiencing the numbness very often. My aunt has a friend who experienced numbness for quite some time and went to see a doctor. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with vascular disease.

By the way, does your numbness shoot up all the way up to the arms?

It could be cappel tunnel syndromes. Bty can someone tell me why I can't start a new thread. How then can I start a new thread?

I also think you should go and do a checkup at the hospital. Polyclinics wil be a waste of time, as those GPs aren't very experienced, and they probably tell you to exercise more for better blood circulation.

A thorough checkup will be more advisable
hope you get well soon too!

after wearing heels, my feet became numb. is it because my poor feet are too tired?

just took up a job that requires me to stand, my toes feels numb daily now.

I went to learn qigong lately.

My 'master' taught us to hit (with fist) on both legs at the same time. Hit along the sides of both legs from bottom to top a few times. It's quite effective.

Switch to a comfy pair or shoes. If your shoes are too tight, it restricts proper blood circulation. Add extra cushion paddings in the shoes so they are more comfy to stand in.

Maybe due to poor blood circulation but better see a doc or specialist. This may be serious.

Hmmm.... i not too sure if this is the same. but my mum who is like 50 has a similar problems but the numbness is in the finger . She manage to recover and the trick was to pull each finger very hard , till the point you hear a "cluck" song, do this everyday for all your fingers.. hmmm sounds strange but it worked for her . a chinese physician told her one. Alternatively try drinking huiji to improve circulation. If not go see a doc i think numbness could be a serious issue . Get well soon ok *hugs u tightly =)

yup, it's due to poor blood circulation. perhaps u wld like to ensure *** e temperature in e room is ok, not too cold? also can try guasa as it promotes blood circulation n is fast, cheap n easy.
                        do also watch ur diet.
