• Do Our Bit for Charity...

don't think there's a previous thread on this, thought it'll be nice to start one...

let's list whatever charity sites and good causes that we could all do our bit for (without having to fork out an arm and leg).

starting with these:
- Donate Your Old Shades This Xmas
- Stop The Hunger (just click once per day to help)
- The Hunger Site (just click once per day to help)

please add on to the thread if you have any other charitable activities/ sites too

Season to give and share...

Mango girl, are the sharity boxes around only during the christmas season or perm? Am I blind or what, but where are some of these boxes that can be found?

Not exactly a sharity box, but East Point's and Tampines' NTUC outlets have charity dropoff points for new groceries. The programme is jointly organised by NTUC and the Boys' Brigade.

These outlets are perm. And yes, it's a sharity gift box. This event is held once a yr to fulfill the wishes of some children, family and elderly. You may deposit general food items there. Other way to lend your helping hand is to visit www.bbsgb.org.sg. Or you may call up the hotline and request to fulfill wishes.
