  • Filing Bills for back-dated access

    Hi all,

I'd like to find out in general how long (years??) would you keep the following bills or statements for back-dated access...

    1. PUB bills
    2. Phone bills (mobile, fix-line)
    3. Bank account statements of any kind (e.g. savings, FixedDeposit, Credit Cards etc)
    4. Investment statements
    5. Payslips
    6. CPF statements
    7. Housing
    8. Insurance

    What else...?? Please add on.

What is the general practice? 5 years? 3 years?

Hope to hear some input. TIA

I was told to keep for 2 years. Maybe we should check out some law sites?
