You can decoupage your photo frames, I guess. I bought plain wooden frame from IKEA (but problem with IKEA photo frames is that the stand is pathetic- just a stick stuck into the wood at an angle) and I stuck pictures of my friend's favourite popstars over it and then lacquered it.

Always can't seem to find the right organiser for myself, so I have been making organisers with customised pages for every school term! Rather troublesome to draw all those lines and boxes, but totally worth it cos this is small and light enough!

Didn't have time to design the cover, so I just bought wrapping paper that I like to wrap the front and back covers.. Cheap and useful organiser!

            wow, that's a pretty one!
can you teach me how to wrap the edge where the spiral binder is?

i presume you had bought a booklet that has spriral bind already. then wrap it with wrapping paper. but how do you deal with the edges?

              Thanks!

I bought a sketch book with the spiral bind..

I took out the spiral bind, wrapped the covers, poked holes through the wrapping paper through the original holes (i just felt for the holes then poke! ), then put the bind back.. I also wrapped the covers with those sticky plastic sheets so that the wrapping paper won't be torn.. After taking out the bind, it may become a bit loose (the last page of the book may fall out), so you need to sqeeze the bind back slightly..

                  Those furry ones?
I made a furry one for my friend before (but did not take pictures! argh!). It's brown fur with eyes so it looks like something out of Harry Potter. I know ArtFriend sells nice fur in A4-ish size. They sell real rabbit pelt too!

My sister and her friends made one for their classmate's birthday too! Pink and furry, very cute! I guess you can buy the materials from art friend, popular or spotlight and make one.. I made two similar files using felt as the cover, the effect was great! Just didn't add feathers or fur cos it was for a school assignment

My sister doesn't have a picture of the book they made, but here's what I made for my project! I made this from A3 size paper, mounting board, felt and glitter spray..

Add some feathers/fur at the sides, decorate with some shiny stick-ons and it'll be pretty!

I'm going to make an earrings cupboard/holder after my exams. I think it's going to be pink and glittery, not sure yet. Will post a picture if it turns out nice
