Scotland: men in kilts (and nothing underneath!), Prince William at the Uni of Ediburgh...

No seriously, Scotland is a place to go to if you want to be AWED by the majesty of nature. The landscapes will make your jaw drop. Go there too if you like castles and ruins...brrr!

I like GLasgow....very warm and happening....there's a Space.NK right smack in town and the club scene is pretty hot too. It's a wonderful mix of the new and the old, medieval and modern.

A friend drove me up to the ulu part of Scotland once....we stopped by one of those small towns on the way up a winding mountain pass. There was a pub with a seafront view so we sat out there staring at the wild waves pounding the cliffs while we held our beers...pretty surreal experience.

OMG! Pls dun get me started on hawaii... I will never forget that place.... and Jemay it is NOT as expensive as u think.... Free and easy is the way to go man! I took a month to plan my trip, and enjoy every min of it, despite the fact that I have a hige accident there and ended up coming back on a wheelchair.

Hawaii is made up of 8 islands... International airport is situated in oahu, and u take internal shuttles to the other islands.

Oahu is the most populated and most touristy. Hotel rates are more competitive... I get to stay in a ~4star hotel for like US$50 only... and it is like 5-10 mins walk to beach. Public transport will get u almost anywhere too.

                Main draw in Oahu:
Waikiki beach - Jap girls in bikini, think baywatch hawaii
Shopping! - The only Sephora in hawaii is located at the Ala Moana shopping centre at Oahu.
Polynesian dances - u can find free shows to Hawaiian dances... very very nice!
Horse-back riding and Dune buggy rides! - Awesome!

Maui: Less populated, but the scenery is awesome! the most beautiful beaches in the world can be located here. Hotel rates are exorbitant though, ranging from US$120 for a 1 bed-room apt to US$300 for a night at the Sheraton towers along Wailea beach. Public transport is non-existant there.. u are better off renting a car... best and cheapest way to view Maui. The more expensive way is to fly by helicopter.

                Main draw in Maui:
Beaches - the sand there is super fine, the waters there are super blue
Water sports like diving, snokelling, boat trips
Waterfalls - imagine doing a plunge from the top of the waterfalls... there are hundreds of waterfalls in Maui... and u get to see them end in the ocean.
Sunrise at Haleakala - a domant volcanoe... supposedly the best sunrise in the world.

Other sights in other islands: Active volcanoes

Sorry for the long post... but I really love Hawaii, determined to return there someday and explore the other islands...

Glasgow is neat. Free museum visits everywhere. The transportation museum is cute.

ok not many places, but all strange ones...

                            Indonesia - Riau islands

Malaysia - Pulau Rawa, Besar, Tioman.

                            Brunei - Jungle training

Taiwan - various towns, and country side and mountains, Gao-Hsiung, Taipei, Tai Zhong.

                            Myanmmar - yangon

Europe - Paris, Scotland (glasgow and Edinburgh, and just a mite of the highlands), Norway (Oslo, Trondheim, Hell [it's true!] Rorus) and the Netherlands (Maastrict)

Fav: It's hard... I love all of them! Everything has got its own points... But if forced, it'll have to be Norway, and Myanmmar.
