yoganut, the leather texture vary from col to col & from season to season. but then again most of bal leather break in really nice so once you break in the stiff leather, you would enjoy the buttery soft goodness. the stiffer ones take a lot longer to break in.

I think most consignment/2nd hand shops would have both options. They pay you cash immediately or they will pay when it is sold. The rates however would vary, latter would fetch more. lea163, Why not try BalNY or even BalParis? Don't settle just because it is the only colour available. Having said that, I love Sahara. It is light but the undertones would forgive staining. I said this before & someone here thinks it is funny but really, the undertone of Sahara looks like...
