    replied to Baby pimples :(
yes, baby acne is very common. especially for very young babies between 2wks to 3months. please don't believe in old wives tales and apply funny stuff or medication on your baby's face. you may make it worse.

Just google 'Baby acne'... lots more scientific information on the...

replied to Where to buy nursing bra?
I bought mine from moms in mind website http://www.momsinmind.com.sg/bras.html, they are like regular padded bras but can unhook to nurse. It comes with wire but can be removed. Quite comfy actually compared to mothercare where the cup sizing is always off and the material tends to overstretch after...

    Hi Sunsdew,

I think newborns are always sleepy, they sleep and sleep for at least the first week or so! Both my girls were sleepy, one with and the other without epidural, so I don't think it is related. They were so sleepy you have to wake them up for feeds....

    I'm not...

    Hi Sunsdew,

Don't mean to defend her just because she's my gynae but I think it's true what she says. Asking if you will tear or to predict exactly when to snip is like asking her to predict the future? It will be too late by the time you tear excessively and you will take alot longer to...

    replied to Violin lessons
you can just buy a new string from any music shop that sells violins and replace it yourself?

As for the violin practise, why don't you use a violin mute? I find that using that in an air con room with the windows and door closed is good enough. Can practise even while kids are sleeping....

I can't remember why they said 6 months too, but it all depends on your baby. If he seems to be hungry more often or require more feeds, and most importantly, shows an interest in your food (my girl keeps staring at me when I eat, and when i pretend to feed her what I'm eating, she opens her mouth expectantly),...

Why peifu? I think it's the easiest thing for SAHM. No need to wash bottles, sterilize etc. I hate washing bottles, just pop a boob in the baby's mouth, so easy! Anytime, anywhere. No need to pack formula/bottles/sterilizing equipment when we travel too... just remember to bring mummy along

not an expert but having to cook everyday for hubby and kid taught me lots...

    1. To multi-task, get 2 (or more) kitchen timers! I have two from daiso
    2. If you cook everyday, get a dishwasher to wash the dishes! I can't live without it...
    3. Soups are prob the easiest thing...
