In the morning you can head to Meiji Jingu and yoyogi Park. After that followed by Takeshita Dori and after that Omotesando.
After that take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line from Omotesando Stn to Shimbashi stn.

Well The fastest way to Minakami is to take the Shinkansen to Jomo Kogen station and take the bus. but the bus is not JR covered.
The JR covered way is to take to Takasaki Stn from Tokyo Stn, and take the train to Minakami from there.
